The camera won’t scan my card

Make sure OneCard is allowed to use the camera in your device settings. Then hold the whole barcode or QR code inside the frame in even light, without glare, and make sure the code type selected in OneCard (barcode or QR code) matches your card. Very worn or damaged cards may not scan. You can always type the number printed on the card instead.

The checkout scanner won’t read my card

Tap Present card so the screen goes to full brightness, and hold the phone flat and still a few centimeters from the scanner. If it still doesn’t work, open Edit card and check that the number matches your physical card exactly and that the barcode format matches the one printed on the card. Some stores’ scanners can’t read phone screens. In that case, the cashier can usually type in the number shown under the code.

My store isn’t in the list

Choose Custom store at the top of the store list, enter the store’s name, and pick up to three colors for the card. Custom cards work just like the built-in ones.

The screen stayed bright after using OneCard

OneCard restores your brightness when you leave a presented card. If the app was closed while a card was being presented, the screen may stay bright. Adjust it in Control Center (iPhone) or quick settings (Android).

Getting a new phone

Your cards are stored only on your current phone and are not included in iCloud or Google backups. They won’t move to a new phone automatically, and deleting the app deletes them. Keep your physical cards or card numbers so you can add them again on your new phone.

Deleting your cards

To delete one card, open it and tap Delete card. To delete all of them, open Settings and tap Delete all cards on this device. Deleted cards can’t be recovered. Deleting the app also removes all of your cards.

Is my data private?

Yes. OneCard has no account, no server, no analytics, and no ads, and your cards never leave your device. Read the privacy policy for details.
